Seattle's Biggest Public Golf League
We offer evening golf leagues 3 nights per week all summer long. The format is team oriented to provide a greater opportunity for players of all abilities. All scoring based on a net score. Players participating will be given provisional City Golf handicap, if they don't posses a USGA index.

Willows players I’m sorry - you can no longer pay greens fees week to week as we get charged for the full field every week whether you show or not. My new accountant is very strict and will not let me run the league at a loss. When you can’t show get a sub and make them pay you back!

Formats
League play starts at 5pm. The league play is based on net scoring. Handicaps will be given to those who do not have them. We play a different format(game) each week. They are selected to give the participants an opportunity to sample some different ways to play golf. We keep the emphasis on playing your own ball, so everyone has a chance to improve. By playing in a team format, the pressure to produce is spread amongst the team.

The end of the season tournament will be Sept 11th at Avalon Golf Club.
Prizes
The prize fund for each league will be $1000 Cash. Or $100 per team if your league has less than 10 teams.
1st Place-$500
2nd Place-$250
3rd Place-$150
4th Place-$100
Ability Level
You really only need to be able to finish 9 holes. It is important that you keep pace with the group in front of you. Our general rule in City Golf, is once you have hit the ball 10 times, just pick it up and let your teammates finish the hole.
Rainouts
Let's hope we don't have any, but if we do, City Golf will try to let the team captains know by 3pm that day. We usually try to wait as long as possible and some times we will play in a little drizzle. If you have questions-call us please, 206 226-3211. We will also try to post rain decisions on the website.
Qualifying
4 people can play per night. If you have not played CityGolf in the past, you'll need to get qualified. You can do this a couple ways...play the first night of league play. Provide us with some scorecards we can use to give you a handicap or give us your handicap index. Play with your group in weeks 2-5 as the fourth...your score will not count towards the team score.
